This house is designed as a season lease rental cottage.
Storage and service areas are concentrated along two parallel walls which enclose a double height space between them. Rather than creating individual rooms for each daily activity, all activities take place in one open space. The only space division consists of a mezzanine and its stairway. The kitchen and dining area are tucked underneath the mezzanine that fulfills a bedroom function, peering over the double height living room. The roof holds everything together. The end walls are fully glazed, which makes the house interior feels like a transition towards nature.
