The Modibo Keita International Airport was designed by Montreal based FSA Architecture for an American governmental institution and was contracted to the Chinese company Sinohydro. Working for FSA, as the project coordinator Felix Tue acquired valuable international experience. On a series of trips to the construction site in Mali, Felix expanded his ability to work in a global marketplace where the team members come from around the world.
The airport construction was halted following the coup d’état in March 2012 and completed five years later.
